Single Ply Packaging

Single ply materials today are not as popular as in the past in packing biscuits, ice creams, pastas etc., due to limited barrier properties to protect the product and inherent strength of the single layer of film and being easy for the inks to scuff etc. However, it still has a place in protecting the product against contamination and does lend lots of space to brand and see the product being packed at reasonable prices and where shelf life of the packed product is not that critical.
