Laminated Flexible Packaging
Lamination is the process whereby a material can be manufactured consisting of multiple layers of the same material and/or different types of materials where the composite material improves the characteristics of the laminated product.
By employing the process of lamination, bringing together various characteristics of films and bonding it, this enhances the strength, stability, appearance and barrier properties of the laminated product. The process of lamination commonly is achieved by applying heat, pressure, adhesive etc.
The process of lamination, which is commonly used in Arabian Flexible Packaging, consists of solvent-less, solvent base and/or a combination of solvent-less and solvent base, depending on what material or bond strength needs to be achieved.
